We have an extensive history of managing project details that are frequently overlooked, such as coordination with property managers, homeowners, tradespeople, and technicians to get 12-foot screens to a home on the 112th floor!

Video Wall

In terms of video, the 4K Barco video wall stands as the focal piece, offering reference-quality video for the best performance, black-level contrast, and vibrant color contrast. Video walls are a direct-view option that works very well in environments with ambient light, which really extends the possibilities for where to install them besides windowless rooms like basements.

They’re ideal for homes where projectors face limitations due to space constraints or ceiling height concerns. Plus, because they’re modular, they fit better in elevators, and EENY can move the pieces in one by one. Once in your home, we work them together like a jigsaw puzzle with stunning results.

Surround Sound

Surround sound was redefined by hidden speakers from Wisdom Audio. These hidden speakers add clarity and precision to achieve accurate sound reproduction without compromising the room's sleek design, with the capability for in-wall, in-ceiling, or floor installation. 

Immersive Dolby Atmos envelops the viewer in audio coming from every direction. This 360-degree spatial audio experience makes helicopters in films feel like they’re flying above you, and the cars in a chase scene zoom past you on the right or left lanes. Being chased by zombies and other opponents in your video game becomes more lifelike than ever before, and you’ll feel like you’re in the stadium cheering amongst other fans with this superior speaker setup.

Overcoming Theater Room Challenges

Challenges like a low ceiling height and compact room layout are met with innovative solutions. EENY chose the video wall over traditional projectors to overcome these obstacles, but it brought up additional challenges, such as HVAC control to manage additional heat caused by the display. 

Integrating specialized acoustic treatments and sound isolation techniques was a significant consideration, so the sound stayed inside the space without disturbing other areas. The resulting home media room will be where every detail, from specialty lighting to optimized sightlines, is meticulously planned and delivered.

Acoustics & Sound Isolation

Aesthetics and functionality go hand-in-hand in this space, and every technical detail helps the room become a natural extension of the home's overall design. Acoustical isolation treatments minimize sound isolation keeping the sound in the room. This helps to keep noise contained without preventing disruption in other areas of your home.

Experience the full potential of your audio with pristine clarity and detail. By enhancing the acoustics of your space it allows your sound system to truly shine. 

On the other hand, sound isolation dampens sound, so it’s less likely to disturb neighboring spaces. Sound transmission can occur through outlets, air supply and return vents, and doors, so with the help of CinemaTech, we employed several sound isolation techniques, such as specialty wallboards, flooring, and ceiling materials, to dampen the distracting sound of cheers and jeers from sports fans or the booming bass of an action sequence. 

Bespoke Seating

Central to the room's design was the custom, handcrafted German seating by CinemaTech, which is crucial in ensuring perfect sightlines to the Barco video wall with neck support and elevation to prevent strain. The Lorenza sofa offers versatility and unmatched comfort for any activity, making every seat in the room the best seat!
